Minister and published author who founded Peace 4 poverty so that many who have come from painful past can see that despite the poverty, one may be able to find Peace. Despite the hardships that he has faced in his life, Mr. Proby has established a trucking business, a clothing business, and is also a motivational speaker. Leading by example to show people who come from similar backgrounds that your past does not determine your future.

James is a 23 year Retired United States Air Force and Marine Corps Veteran. He is the recipient of ‘The Airman’s Medal’ for Heroism. He served as a College President & Director for two colleges, as well as, Director of Admissions for three campuses; including his current position at Aviation Institute of Maintenance. James has over 30 years’ experience in recruitment, professional and personal development. He has a passion for individuals to gain access to training that allows them to go from the classroom to the workforce and/or entrepreneurship.

Mother, strategic consultant, business owner, educator and community advocate. During her collegiate career at UNC Charlotte, she was an active board member holding multiple key positions with the National Society of Black Engineers. She is a holder of a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering and Project Management Professional (PMP) credential. Applying project management expertise in managing multiple million-dollar cost saving initiatives and projects by developing actionable solutions. Shamita has spent the past 10 years expanding her knowledge and network to build a solid foundation for her future in community building. She is committed to leading by example to reimagine this reality with compassion and love. In her youth she experienced the loss of a parent and lack of financial stability which led to temporary displacement; however, through it all she sought continuous education to break generational curses and obtain true ownership of her future. It is her passion that she will be able to empower those around her, especially our future leaders, to achieve their goals and dreams.

Monique Stubbs is a recognized as a dynamic and engaging storyteller, speaker, author, and expert in personal and professional development. With over 30 years of experience in sales, management and business development, Monique has shared her insights and strategies with audiences at universities, women’s organizations, corporations, and non-profit entities globally. 

Monique holds certifications from both Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and Duke University. She has received numerous awards over the year her philanthropic endeavors and community leadership. She is also the author of five books, including her signature award-winning book, "Unclogged: Targeting the Top 10 Mindset Cloggers to Business Success."

This book has won the GOLD Award of Excellence in the Collateral-Self Promotions category for the Communicator Award.

Her favorite quote, which she penned is, “A rich lifestyle has nothing to do with money but everything to do with mindset and meaningful relationships.”

Annabelle McCullough serves as Store Manager II, Vice President with TD Bank where she plays a pivotal role in leading branch operations, driving team performance and delivery exceptional financial service to the community.  With a strong commitment to relationship banking, she guides individuals, families, and small businesses towards practical financial solutions that support long-term success. Annabelle is a servant leader with more than a decade of experience in leadership in the financial services industry and a long history of support and volunteerism through community organizations in the areas in which she serves. 
Annabelle is known for cultivating a high performing, customer first team culture that reflects TD Bank's values of inclusion, integrity, and impact.  Under her leadership, the branch functions as more than just a place of banking—it becomes a trusted partner in the financial wellness journey of the community it serves.  Her dedication to mentorship, operational excellence, and local engagement make her a standout leader both inside an beyond the bank.  

Brenda Dawkins is a devoted Mother, a skilled Software Engineer and Financial Advisor, as well as the CEO and Founder of the Rant Post mobile application, which is dedicated to supporting healing journeys. Recently, she embraced the role of Secretary for the nonprofit organization Peace 4 Poverty, where she actively contributes to the mission of alleviating poverty in the community through Entrepreneurship.

Having faced many struggles in life, Brenda has gained invaluable grace and insight, allowing her to recognize the brighter side of every trial and tribulation. Since completing the program in Cohort 2, she has been a passionate volunteer, wholeheartedly committed to the organizations vision. Brenda is dedicated to helping new entrepreneurs achieve financial freedom  by guiding them in Financial Literacy and connecting them with vital resources necessary to thrive. With her diverse experiences and genuine commitment to service, Brenda is a remarkable asset to both her community and the individuals she supports.

Samuel Blackmon is a consultant and facilitator dedicated to helping individuals, teams, and organizations unlock clarity, connection, and growth. He is the Founder of Blackmon Strategic Solutions LLC, a consulting firm that provides services in finance, technology, organizational culture, and event management. Through this platform, he equips clients and communities with clarity, strategy, and actionable solutions.
With a background spanning project management, product design, and financial wellness, Samuel brings a unique blend of strategic insight and people-centered leadership. He has led initiatives that strengthen culture, foster collaboration, and inspire individuals to move from vision to action. His expertise extends to consulting with organizations on building inclusive environments that encourage dialogue, bridge silos, and create lasting impact.
Samuel’s personal journey—from overcoming debt to achieving financial stability—fuels his passion for empowering others with the principles of discipline, planning, sacrifice, and consistency. Whether facilitating offsites, leading workshops, or speaking to groups, he creates engaging spaces that spark meaningful conversations and drive tangible outcomes.
